With the cold weather upon us, I felt it was a perfect timing to talk about some photographs from our yearly apple picking adventure. For the past three (?) years, we've made time to go apple picking at a local orchard. This past year it was a beautiful day and the rows of apple trees are always something to stand back and take in. These photographs are from my Holga camera that was modified to fit 35mm film. The film I used was Kodak Porta 400. I didn't count clicks when I advanced the film... I knew there would be overlapping with a panorama feel and that was exactly what I was going for.
Although these are perfect images - I really love the way they came out. They have this sort of eeriness to them that is really captivating. I'm not sure why they are so blurry - I must have had the camera set to "Bulb" mode without realizing it... oops!
