As the first day of 2016 is coming to an end, I'm finally sitting down to think about 2015 and what 2016 has in store for me. 2015 led to - my photography expanded, my boyfriend and I moved in together, I was inspired and tried new things in my work, I showed my work in a photography exhibition, and I ended the year selling my artwork among tons of talented artists and vendors at the SoWa Chrismukkah Market. I did things I never thought I would ever do - and that alone is enough encouragement to do even more in 2016.

Last May, I started this blog with the intentions to photograph and write everyday. As you can see, that didn't last long. I've never been one to commit myself to sitting down and doing something everyday. So, I'm starting the year off with this blog. Starting today, I'm going to photograph every day and write a blog post. As of right now, I'm hoping I can stick to this. I don't want to say there may be some days where I don't have the time because that will give me an excuse to not do this.

I went out today and bought a new mirror less camera - a Fujifilm X-T10. It's a beauty and I cannot wait to become more accustomed to it. I did shoot with it and tested it out in different lighting situations, but I'll post those tomorrow. I look forward to what this blog will bring for me. I hope to grow as a photographer, a writer, and an artist. I hope to have the courage to apply to different exhibitions and vendor shows. I hope I will continue to be inspired every day by the little things.

Happy New Year!
